Activists are using mass murder as an occasion to posture and blame. The spectacle is sickening. Our nation needs to grieve and to support those who are suffering. But most of our media figures don’t know how to do that anymore. All they and their fans know is spin. Are we all politicians now? There is a time simply to lament. This is such a time.
